Why is not still gay marriage legal in las vegas? Everything is almost legal in Vegas, you can gamble, drink alcohol while walking on las Vegas strip. You can be drunk and even prostitution is legal in Some places near las Vegas city(see the bunny ranch). But gay marriage is still illegal. Why? |

What is the best gay nightclub in Las Vegas that has pop music, cheaps drinks and no big queues ? I'm going to Las Vegas in November (Sat, Sun & Mon) & want to know the best gay nightclub that has pop music, cheap drinks/cover charge, no dress code and no big queues ? Can anyone help ? I am thinking of gong to 8 1/2 Ultralounge, Pirahna and Gipsy. Would they suit my needs ! ? Thanks |
If you're staying on the Strip, Krave is the only gay club that's easy to get to. It's located in the Miracle Mile Shopping Mall (Planet Hollywood). It's the most expensive of the alternative venues, though still cheap compared to straight clubs like Jet and Rain, where the cover can sometimes go all the way up to an outrageous $75.00. Cover at Krave never exceeds $20.00.

All the other gay clubs are located in areas that are off the beaten path. Of these, Gipsy is the oldest and the best. The cover varies, but again, won't exceed $20.00. The drinks are usually pretty cheap.

Flex is really cheap. No cover on most days, and a maximum of $5.00 on Saturdays. However, the place is not as popular as the ones I've already mentioned. So, it's hit and miss. Weekends are usually fine, though weekdays can be dead.

Are there any gay neighborhoods in Las Vegas? I was transferred there for work, and I am trying to find a gay neighborhood to live in. Does anyone know of any there? |
It seems like they are spread out all over the valley. There is no actual gay ghetto/neighborhood. The three nicest master-planned communities, The Lakes Anthem, 7 Hills Green Valley and Summerlin, seem to be very popular with the gay community. Additionally, the older central area of the city south of Charleston Boulevard and East of Las Vegas Boulevard has become popular as well.
But there are no "Gay Neighborhoods" per se.

How would I find a gay doctor in Las Vegas? Is there a directory or website with a list? Or Transvestite doctor? |
| Find a gay and or Lesbian support group in the area and ask them |
Where can I meet other gay teenagers in Henderson or Las Vegas, NV? Hello I am a 17 year old gay male and I would like to know where I can meet other gay teenagers in the Henderson and Las Vegas area. I cannot go to the Gay and Lesbian Community Center of Southern Nevada because my parents wont let me drive and they say it is to far away. So does anyone know anywhere else in the Henderson or Las Vegas area of Nevada. Please help me out. |
im not sure where else you would be able to unless you out to a club and met people, but maybe you can do some volunteer work for the gay and lesbian community and your parents would be willing to drive you there, or you can take the bus over there, if you feel safe enough to, i know i wouldn't wanna take the bus just because theres alot of creepy people on it that like to stare.. lol
but that's the only thing i can think of, sorry im not much help, but i hope things work out for you, OH! if you have another friend who can drive and is willing to go to the gay/lesbian center with you, maybe he/she can take you with them! car pool? lol but that's all i can think of, i hope i helped :]
good luck hun! |
Question about gay marriage, is it like a Las Vegas marriage? If I were to get married with my boyfriend (we are both gay), If I were to marry him in a state that is legal to get married with the same sex partner, will my marriage be seen as a marriage in another state, will I be able to get full legal benifits in other states?
Like when someone marries someone in a casino in Las Vegas, that marriage only counts in Las Vegas, is that the same way for a gay marriage? |
beg your pardon? you mean I paid all that $ on a divorce when all this time that ceremony with the fat elvis didnt count?!
well, lets just keep this to ourselves, because im gonna get my retirement one way or another. |
What's the gay scene in Las Vegas like? Tell me all about it please. Do they have a gay neighborhood, like how Chicago has Boystown? Are people their generally openminded towards gay people, or not so much? Are there lots of fun gay bars and clubs? Also what are some fun things to do in Las Vegas and Nevada as a whole? I might be moving there from Chicago. |
There is an active gay life in Las Vegas but nothing compared to Chicago or San Francisco. There are lots of gay bars and nightclubs but most are a few miles from the Vegas strip. Here is more information on where to go and have fun.
